Banned, Bold & Beautiful

Banned, Bold & Beautiful

Banned Books Week is a national celebration of the freedom to read. You may have seen it on Facebook, Twitter or–if you still know where it’s located–your local library.

In support of Banned Books Week, Criminal Class Press joined up with the literary community this month by hosting a high school-only writing competition. We encourage members of all age ranges to read, but at a time when high school drop-out rates are at astonishing levels, we hoped to inspire as many students as possible to submit to us, free, for a chance to win prizes and get their writing out into the world.

With great difficulty, we’ve narrowed it down to Five Winners. A new story will be added each day of Banned Books Week.
