Mission Statement: Uphold a full intake of scum, for the lack of a better term, in order to transcend the gap between song and story. Where do those hard luck songs come from? What life fashioned the kind of musician who writes songs of hatred, struggle, and negative endurance? We at Criminal Class have opened the door for those writers whose stories have gone largely unheard. Those stories that are often so unbelievably crass and vindictive that no one else could bear to publish them. If you have what it takes to bleed onto the page, consider our journal a second home.
Attention Reader: We do not accept sob stories, teenage dribble love poems, political banter, proselytizing speeches, or anything of the like. There are many other journals out there that cater to such genres and nonsense. This journal is for the emotionally impaired, hard hearted, and vengeful-minded. For the time being, we do not pay but we are fair in our assessment of your submission and offer free contributor's copy if accepted. We realize that that is like free coffee at a gas station but its what we got at the moment. Thank you and good luck!
